The results were a big surprise in general, as were the bad results of the primary elections. (The recent ones were better than expected for Macri). The new government will take power on 10 December, and the transition will be difficult and long. In the meantime, ex-president and future Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner declared last night that all the decisions made until that date will be the responsibility of Macri.
