Export declarations are made for a specific shipping period within which they must shipped to avoid penalties. In this case there are declarations for 2.9 MMT for December, 2.7 MMT for January and 2.8 MMT for February. The announcement provides some relief for exporters who have only purchased 5.3 MMT in the local market.
