Mercosur Regional Analysis

Wheat The wheat harvest in Argentina is progressing at a steady pace. Last week, the harvested area share increased by 5 percentage points, bringing the total to 17 percent of the sown area. The harvest begins in the north and gradually moves southward. In the northwest, the harvest is nearly complete, while 85 percent of the area has been harvested in the northeast. However, these two regions contribute less than 3 percent of total wheat production.Harvesting is advancing in northern Córdoba and northern Santa Fe and is gaining momentum in Entre Ríos. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
