Corn Good weather has allowed Argentina’s corn harvest to advance to 7 percent of the total area. Rains expected for the end of this week might slow harvest for a few days, however. So far, reported yields are within the normal/average range.  The crop is generally in good condition, but the growing drought has increased the share of corn rated as fair/bad condition from 6 to 13 percent in just one week’s time. This is mainly the late planted corn that is suffering from a lack of soil moisture in the middle of the grain filling stage.
