The difficulties in Syria have caused a change in regional shipping patterns as grain cargoes, which in the past would have enterd Syria's ports for discharge to that country, Jordan and Iraq,  appear to now be unloading in Israel for delivery to Jordan at an estimated cost savings of 5 percent.
