Saudi Arabia's wheat imports are projected to rise by about 10 percent in 2015/16 as local production is decreasing and will  be phased out by 2016. It is possible that the government will allow a few farmers to continue growing the crop, but it might discontinue providing them with support.

It has been forecast that approximately 1.2 MMT of Russian wheat can now be exported during the period of the next few weeks through 30 June, the end of the marketing year.
