GASC has not confirmed this purchase. Egypt’s wheat imports, on a dollar basis, are reportedly up by $539 million in the first half of 2024 versus the same period in 2023. Total wheat imports in dollars reached $2.324 billion. Unfortunately, reporting imports in dollars is not very informative for wheat as reporting in MTs would be of greater value. Weighing in on strategic realignment
WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company.
