Wheat production was well above the average at a record level of 31,400 MMT. In 2023/24, before the bumper harvest, Pakistan imported about 2.8 MMT of wheat. According to a recent FAO report, wheat prices in Pakistan have dropped by at least 35 perent from 2023 levels.
