U.S. corn exports to North Africa/Africa in the first quarter of 2016 are down 75 percent versus 2015, mainly due to reduced business with Algeria, Morocco and Egypt. However, those to the Middle East are up strongly from last year because of a 50 percent increase in shipments to Saudi Arabia.
