Today's White House Forum on Antibiotic Stewardship included the president signing a memorandum directing federal departments and agencies to create a five-year preference for meat and poultry produced in accordance with responsible antibiotic use.As we previewed in the 28 May Livestock column, the administration today convened the White House Forum on Antibiotic Stewardship in order "to bring together key human and animal health constituencies involved in antibiotic stewardship."
