There are five new members of the Senate Ag Committee. Given the 50/50 split in the Senate, there will be an even split on the Committee, 11 Democrats and 11 Republicans (the ratio during the last Congress was 11 Republicans and nine Democrats). Given that the Senate is under Democratic control with Vice President Harris as the tie breaker, Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan) will be the Committee chairwoman.
