There were representatives from the malting barley and sunflower industry at the meeting. This supports the idea that the "minor" crops are engaged in watching the collapse of the "major" crop prices and are trying to decide at what price level they should introduce 2015 crop contracts.I spoke at a farm meeting in central North Dakota last night and came away with several observations that are worth noting:
