India's soybean-producing regions are expected to be particularly vulnerable to inadequate rains from this year's monsoon, and there also is concern about the impact of the poor quality of planting seed available this year. Poor Quality Hampers Sale of Chinese Soybean Reserve Stocks The Chinese government was able to sell only 37.2 percent (134,528 MT) of the 361,402 MT of soybeans it offered for sale in an auction today. The average sales price was 4,068 yuan/MT ($650/MT). That was down from last week's average of 4,140 yuan/MT ($662/MT). Weighing in on strategic realignment

WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment. Based on WPI’s analysis and recommended actions, the board subsequently reversed its decision and undertook a strategic planning effort to identify more impactful investments.
