The large rise in China's soymeal exports to nearby markets has been mostly due to the lack of availability this year of the less expensive Indian soymeal. Approximately 86,000 MT were also shipped mainly to Europe, probably non-biotech soymeal sold to animal feeders there. Chinese Soymeal Continues Flowing into Asian Markets The current calendar year has been a banner one for Chinese soymeal exports with the pace continuing in August. China's General Administration of Customs reported the country exported 171,679 MT in August.
