USDA economists have warned that this year's presidential election in Argentina could trigger a sharp decline in soybean prices if it results in that country's farmers selling sizable quantities of their soybean stocks. China's Soybean Production to Continue Declining China's National Grain and Oils Information Center (CNGOIC) yesterday estimated the country's 2015 soybean crop at only 11 MMT, a 9.5 percent decrease from 2014 production. The CNGOIC forecast is below USDA's of 11.5 MMT and is based on a 10.3 percent drop in the area planted to soybeans.
