USDA’s WASDE report of today further tightened the soybean supply situation by boosting exports. It also raised its forecasts for soybean exports and crush in 2016/17, but that was not by enough to offset higher production resulting from more harvested area. U.S. Unshipped Soybean Export Sales at Record for July Last week’s USDA Export Sales report indicated there were 7.227 MT of unshipped soybeans on the books for export from the U.S. in 2015/16 as well as 423,000 MT of optional origin sales. It would appear that is the highest ever unshipped soybean sales volume for the month of July. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
