Oilseed Highlights: Correction on Argentine Soymeal to the U.S.; U.S. Soy Export Sales

Correction: Argentine Soymeal Not Headed to U.S. On Tuesday it was indicated that a ship lineup provided by the NABSA shipping agency in Argentina included shipments of soymeal totaling 92,178 MT headed to the U.S. The agency’s lineup was reported by Thomson Reuters. However, NABSA now indicates the soymeal is instead headed to Vietnam and Thailand. It is not clear why the destination was inaccurately published earlier. However, the shipments to the U.S. seemed credible because it normally has been in May and June that a consortium of swine and poultry producers in North Carolina have imported soymeal from South America.
