Severe Flooding in Argentina with More Possibly on the Way After heavy rains flooded over 1 million hectares soon after Christmas, much of the same area was pounded again this past weekend. The hardest hit areas were in Santa Fe Province where 5-13 inches of rain fell. Parts of Cordoba Province were also impacted. Because the area is very flat, fields were flooded and will likely remain so for days or weeks.
