Russian Meat Producer to Build Soybean Crush Plant  Russia’s largest meat producer, Cherkizovo, has announced its plans to build a large soybean crushing plant in the Eletsprom special economy zone (Lipetsk Oblast) in the European part of the country south of Moscow.. It indicated daily capacity will be 1,500 MT, and construction is to begin in 2019 with completion by the end of 2020.  A spokesperson for the company noted that the purpose of this facility is to lower the cost of soymeal used in its poultry and swine feeds.
