RFS Waiver Decision on the Clock

RFS Waiver on the Clock Two more states, Texas and Virginia, have petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency to waive the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). Governors Rick Perry (R-Texas) and Bob McDonnell (R-Virginia) join governors from North Carolina and Arkansas, who petitioned EPA, and Maryland and Delaware, who support an RFS waiver but did not technically petition the Agency.Most importantly, EPA opened a public comment period today, which starts the 90-day countdown until it will have to issue a decision on the waiver. Forecasting developments in production agriculture

On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
