It is now six days since the midterm elections, and several races still aren’t settled, including a few in the Senate of interest to the ag and food sector. Ballot counts continue in the Arizona race with a recount underway for the seat in Florida. Meanwhile, House Representative Kyrsten Sinema has taken a lead in Arizona and is likely to flip that seat, currently held by Republican Jeff Flake, to the Democratic column. There are about 215,000 votes left to count, all in counties where she has an advantage in terms of the number of likely Democratic voters.
