SOE Reform, Maybe; BRICS Hypocrisy

SOE Reform, Maybe The Trump Administration has been decrying the dominance of state-owned enterprises (SOE’s) in China’s economy and now that nation’s State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission has released guidelines for reform. But the Commission is looking only at mixed ownership of “centrally administered” SOEs to ensure “marketization” – meaning reduced subsidies and improved earnings. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
