Welcome back from the holiday. The latest weather reports have not brightened prospects for crops in Argentina and southern Brazil and weather premium was added across the board in the Sunday overnight session, but it failed to completely hold on Monday. If not for the uncertainty in South America, one could expect weaker volume during a week between major holidays. It was lower volume in the wheat market as it headed lower, but the soy complex saw notable activity on its way to solid gains.   There is a chance for light precipitation in Argentina and southern Brazil, but the chance is greater that La Niña heat and drought will persist through January.
