Milling Wheat The Black Sea market remained about unchanged last week. The focus is on the new crop conditions in Russia and Ukraine. The drought is persisting in southern Russia and Ukraine, while the rains in northern Russia are still delaying the planting of spring wheat. Most estimates have Russia’s crop at 67-73 MMT (versus last year’s 85 MMT) and Ukraine’s at around 25 MMT (against last year’s 26 MMT). The EU reported that 167,000 MT were exported last week, bringing the total to 19.9 MMT versus 23.1 MMT on the same date last year.
