Southeast Europe Regional Analysis

Milling Wheat The Black Sea market continues to erode in sympathy with the MATIF and CBOT futures. Russia has exported approximately 29.5 MMT since the start of the campaign. The weather in southern Russia and Ukraine is mild for the season. The snow is melting, and vegetation will soon resume. The soil moisture in Eastern Europe is generally in line with the normal historical level. The EU has exported 12.5 MMT so far this season versus 14 MMT at the same time last year. Its wheat is very competitive, and the export pace is increasing at current prices. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
