All WASDEs are important, but some are considered more so than others. Each January issue will contain USDA/NASS’s final production estimates for fall harvested crops such as U.S. corn and soybeans as well as projections for Brazilian and Argentine soybean and corn production.Usually between the 9th and 12th of every month, USDA publishes a new WASDE report, which is a compilation of supply and demand estimates for major field crops and livestock for the U.S. and the world as a whole. Included are estimates of each crop year’s beginning stocks, crop production, domestic use by type, imports, exports and ending stocks.
