USG Closure Congressional Democrats are debating whether they should force the U.S. government into closure at the end of this month when the budget (continuing resolution) expires. Back in March, a handful of Democratic U.S. senators joined with the Republicans in ensuring funding through 30 September but many in the Party thought it was a mistake. The Party faithful see no reason to enable the “fascist and authoritarian” leader they hate.
