Efforts to avoid the COVID-19 virus have forced us into what has become many weeks of home bound hibernation. We have plenty of time to ponder the world around us. Here are a few thoughts and observations rising from our forced isolation.  This week’s “debate” between the Republican President Donald Trump and the Democrat former VP Joe Biden was an embarrassment. The main take away from it was that it showed how low politics in the U.S. have fallen.    In retrospect 2020 has already established itself as a year of disasters.
