The House Agriculture Committee’s Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy, and Credit held a hearing today on the “Renewable Economy in Rural America.” Emily Skor, CEO of Growth Energy, a biofuel trade association, mentioned in her testimony that “We are also awaiting the RVOs for 2022.…” Indeed, there have been rumors since mid-June that the 2022 RVOs were on their way. But as we reported, OMB was still taking meetings from interested parties during the agency’s review and that would have precluded signing off on a final version. The last meeting was the afternoon of 28 September, so today marks seven weeks since the docket was effectively cleared for release - and still no RVO...

Weighing in on strategic realignment
WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company.
