Fed Holds Rates: Looking for Confidence Moving Forward

The Federal Reserve left the federal funds rate unchanged this week at the latest meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).  As WPI reported on 23 January,  … the Federal Funds futures market was pricing in a more than 97 percent chance of the Fed leaving rates unchanged at its meeting on 31 January, and an expectation that rates will be cut at the 1 May meeting. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
