Wheat  In February, rainfall in Argentina’s core agricultural region averaged 222 mm, nearly double the 30-year historical average for the month, which ranges from 100–140 mm from west to east. March began with a similar trend, bringing heavy rains across the country, particularly in southern Buenos Aires province, where some areas received more than 200 mm in a short period. This caused flooding and, in some cases, structural damage.
