Regional Updates MIDDLE EAST/MEDITERRANEAN COMMENTS This past week has been the post-Ramadan Eid al Fitr period of religious holidays in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and all Muslim businesses were closed either for a number of days or the entire time. As a result, the amount of grain business and news in the region has dropped to just a trickle or less.
