The new members of the Democrat minority of the House Agriculture Committee have been named. The Democrat side will decrease from 27 to 24 members moving to the minority. During the last Congress, the split was 27 to 23 between the majority and minority, but as we reported on 27 January, the Democrats requested 24 seats, so to maintain the split representative of the full House, the Republicans added a 28th seat.  Below are the new members. Note there are 431 Congressional Districts (out of 435) with some farm income, the data below is from the NASS 2107 Ag Census (the more recent Census would have been completed 2021 but was delayed until 2022 and the data is now being collected).
