Loss of Face This week's Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations in Singapore will not conclude the talks and instead shows a ramping up of leverage. Australia and New Zealand complain that not enough is being offered on market access. Meanwhile, the U.S. has reportedly suggested that the negotiations proceed without Japan, since Tokyo is trying to keep too much protection for sensitive products.
