The key findings from this effort are that corn and soybean supplies are set to expand on upward yield revisions. Too, demand for corn and soybeans is expected to expand, but this added disappearance will be insufficient to prevent a build-up in stocks. On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
