The CFTC report was in line with expectations again as it showed funds still engaged in the expected buying in corn and across the soy complex. Funds expanded their long position in corn by 7 percent and are now just about 17,000 contract shy of their seasonal record long position. Funds were net buyers in soybeans but by a far smaller margins and added just over 7,000 contracts to a small bullish position.
